Booking and General Conditions :
1)Booking charges :
Booking a pitch : A deposit of 50 €uros deductible from the total bill for your stay
Booking rented accommodation : A deposit, deductible from your total bill, The reservation becomes effective, subject to availability, on receipt of your completed booking form and payment of deposit plus admin charge. You will then receive written confirmation of your booking, a contract of tenancy, and the bill for your stay. Please show this bill when you arrive at Bergougne. Accommodation is rented to the person named as tenant, and may in no case be assigned or sublet.
2)Payment of Balance:
Pitch : the balance is due on the day you leave, or the day before. The balance must be greater than the 50 €uros deposit you have paid. If it is not, no deduction will be made..
Rented Accommodation :Rental balance is due 1 month before you arrive (the bill comes with the tenancy contract).
3)Cancellations :
Pitches : any cancellation must be notified to the management as soon as possible, and in writing. If we receive notification no later than 30 days before you are due to arrive, 30 €uros of your 50 €uros deposit will be reimbursed, within 3 months. Otherwise, the deposit will be retained to cover our losses
Rented Accommodation : Any alteration or cancellation of your stay must be notified as early as possible, and in writing. Should you cancel your stay 45 days or more before arrival, 50 % of your deposit, but not the admin fee, will be reimbursed. After this point no reimbursement can be made, as the deposit is forfeited. In the event of cancellation within 30 days before arrival, the full balance of the cost of your stay becomes due. You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance.
4)Arrival and departure:
Pitch : please arrange to arrive after 12.00 midday, and to leave before 12.00 midday. If you leave after 12.00, you will be charged for an extra day. Reserved pitches are held empty until 12.00 on the day after the booking commenced, after which they may be allocated to another visitor if you have not arrived. If you have chosen a particular pitch, we will try our best to keep it for you, but it could be necessary to give you a different one.
Rented Accommodation :please arrive on Saturday between 4 pm and 8 pm. (16.00 – 20.00), and leave on Saturday between 8 am and 10 am. Accommodation will not be handed over before 4 pm (16.00). In the case of rented accommodation, no refund will be given for late arrival or early departure. Early departures should take place before 8 pm (20.00).
5)Rentals details :
prices quoted for rentals include water, gas, electricity, the pitch, 1 vehicle and 4 people. Other vehicles to be left in the car park by the camp entrance. On arrival, you will be asked for a surety of 200€uros for the COCO SXEET, and 300 €uros for a Mobile home. (a deposit against any damage or loss to the accommodation), plus a surety of 60 €uros for any cleaning required. Sureties will be returned at the end of your stay, subject to inspection of inventory, condition and cleanliness. Missing or damaged items will have to be replaced. Cleaning and tidying of rented accommodation is expected of the tenant, and the premises should be handed back in a clean state as required. Failing which, the 60 euros surety will be retained.
6) Swimming Pool :
bathing trunks and bath short are permitted within the pool enclosure. Bermuda type shorts are not permitted . Bulky floats are not allowed, but armbands are compulsory for children up to 5. Visitors are not permitted access to the pool enclosure.
7)Tourist tax :
This is fixed by Rives local council at 45 centimes (0,45 €uros) per day, per person over 18 years old. It is due for each day of your stay.
8)Animals :
Animals (exclusively dogs and cats) are accepted in the campsite. Their vaccination card, and “passport” if they will return to the U.K., must be up to date and shown at reception on arrival, failing winch dated, the animal cannot be admitted to the campsite (under article4 of the official regulations date 22-01-1985). Animals are not allowed in all mobile homes and COC SWEET. Visitors' animals are not admitted to the campsite.
9)Responsibility :
Parents are responsible for their children. Minors coming to the campsite without their parents must show parental authorisation at reception.
10)The management is responsible for the supervision and maintenance of the campsite, and for ensuring that camp rules are observed. The management accepts no responsibility for damage or loss to camping or caravanning equipment. It is up to campers or caravanners to take out insurance for their caravans, tents and equipment, especially covering liability to third parties. The management accepts no responsibility in the event of damage due to bad weather, falling branches, natural disasters, theft or broken glass. Each person living on the campsite agrees to observe the camp rules displayed at reception.
In the case of non-observance of camp rules, the management may ask you to leave camp right away, without compensation or reimbursement.
11) In the event of litigation, the courts of Agen (Lot et Garonne) shall have sole jurisdiction.
12) French cheques or international credit card, bearing your name and issued by a recognised bank or equivalent, are acceptable in payment. Cash, in €uros, is acceptable, too.
